PS Football – Men

Precision, Speed, and Possibility

Partially Sighted (PS) Football is a fast-paced, high-skill variant of the game designed for athletes with visual impairment who retain partial sight. At the Tamil Nadu Blind Football Association (TNBFA), we proudly support and train our PS Men’s team—comprising athletes who display incredible precision, agility, and strategic intelligence.

Played under modified rules using a brightly colored ball and adapted visual cues, PS football combines the thrill of standard football with the inclusiveness needed for visually impaired athletes. Our PS players come from diverse backgrounds—schools, colleges, and communities—united by a passion for the game and a refusal to let limitations define them.

TNBFA provides structured coaching, access to competitive matches, and a strong support system to nurture their talent. These athletes undergo rigorous training in ball control, positioning, and communication to prepare for regional and national competitions.

Partially Sighted Futsal is played according to FIFA futsal rules, with some adaptations.

These include playing conditions, such as limiting light reflections and regulating light intensity on the pitch and the colour of the ball.

The make-up of the team is also covered in the rules. Players can be classified as B2 or B3 but only two B3 players are allowed on the pitch at any time when a team plays with a sighted goalkeeper.
